Design for tshirt

Proposal for a logo for the University Institute for Research Computers. By using only two symbols, the repetition of the initial letters evokes the binary code (iu / 1-0). This code is the only one that can be directly interpreted by a computer and trained by "ones and zeros," conveys the information needed to run certain action. Let's say that 1011 is our sequence of code. This triggers a sequence of actions (which would be reflected in the second part of the symbol as interpretation of the famous "Game of Life." We represent the symbol cuted, making a nod to the roots of the world of computing. The square and angular shapes suggest seriousness and precision, and contrast with curves (circle as a symbol of perfection and dynamism). As for colors: black and gray troop trust (towards our students and audience). The yellow conveys warmth and personal attention, balances the sobriety of the black and put our confidence in the future.
